Scrapbooking is one of the largest and fastest growing hobbies in North America, so it’s only natural that there are thousands of companies that provide us scrapbookers with a huge assortment of products. Large craft stores, independent specialty stores and even big-box stores like Wal-Mart all stock product to feed our addiction! And there are many web-based, catalog and direct sales companies that produce and market their exclusive, must-have scrapbooking products to us. When I see some of these exclusive products and their sky-high prices, I can well understand when some people remark that scrapbooking is an expensive hobby! But it doesn’t need to be.

 

Now, I love and am inspired by scrapbooking products. New patterned paper makes me giddy and I swoon over decorator brads and tags! But I don’t have an unlimited budget, so I have developed ways of scrapping that use the products I do buy wisely, and I have sourced out different and unique places to acquire my supplies inexpensively.
