Why do YOU Scrapbook?
Welcome to Sharing Memories Scrapbooking – a place for beginner and experienced scrapbookers alike. The goal here is to help you preserve and share your memories. You don’t have to be an artist or designer – you just have to have some photos and stories and a willingness to try out a few fun techniques. We’ll offer suggestions, inspiration and education to help you along the way. Eventually we will be adding product kits that will make your scrapbooking even easier.

Blog posts will have regular features starting with Tip Tuesdays and the Weekend Web Round-up. More regular features will be added until we have new postings almost every day. One of the websites that will be featured in this weeks Weekend Web Round-up is a brand new collective site featuring the work of many of the editors and designers of the popular Simple Scrapbooks Magazine which recently ceased publication. During their launch week, contributors are sharing why they scrapbook and how they got started in this hobby. The style of layouts they create has definitely changed over the years, but the reasons behind why they continue to  scrapbook remain the same – to preserve and share the stories that are important to them. I would hazard a guess that that is why the majority of us scrapbook (although many of us do love the creative outlet that it provides as well.)
